Short description of the Active Safety System INKA-SPORT.

  The principle of INKA-SPORT action is based on the decision in real time of condition coordinates dynamic stabilization problem of a car as a control object in the most general statement to which the problem of prevention collisions is reduced.

In particular, following collisions are prevented:

  • collisions with fixed obstacles because of errors in the choice of movement speed at the limited range of obstacles detection;
  • passing collisions at braking because of errors in choice of distances;
  • collisions with fixed, following or oncoming obstacles at acceleration, braking or movement with constant speed because of unpredicted changes of movement direction as result of:
  • asymmetries of axial wheelpairs
  • wheels slip or blocking;
  • ruptures of tires cords and the torsions of a tire on the rim;
  • destruction of suspension or steering because of inadmissible deterioration of ball couplings;
  • breakaways of wheels from hubs because of spontaneous or deliberate untwisting of fixing bolts;
  • angular rotations of a car at drifts on bends;
  • failures of brakes;
  • vehicle tilting on a bend.

  The original mathematical models and the algorithms of indirect measurements of almost all variables are used in INKA-SPORT for decision of dynamic stabilization problem of car condition coordinates in minimum possible configuration of technical devices.

   The sensors of induction type serve for direct measurements of angles increments of wheels rotation.

  Dynamic borders of condition variables are defined from sufficient conditions of corresponding typical collisions prevention.

The Active Safety System INKA provides realization of following functions:

  • indirect measurements of condition coordinates and their indication by driver inquiries;
  • calculation of dynamic borders, their comparison with current values of condition coordinates and indication of dangerous modes occurrence;
  • diagnostics of sensors condition and indentification of their malfunctions influence;
  • tuning of the system for individual characteristics of the car and the driver.

  All steering influences on controls are formed by a driver taking into account arriving objective information from the INKA-system.
